We exist to share the love of Jesus by meeting the needs of our city.

To that end Local Missions consists of five ministries Open Pantry, Meal Makers, Refugee Sponsorship, Cars Ministry, and Conversational English.

What: Join a group from CA that faciliates a church service and a dinner meal for people of the Downtown Eastside. Serve by prepping food, interacting with locals, worship, or speaking. 
When: Tuesday nights at 8:30PM, usually back to Mariner by 11:45PM. 
Where: 21 East Hastings Street, Vancouver. Meet at the Mariner Campus at 7:30PM on if you want to carpool.

What:  Help out at the centre answering the phone, or use your truck to transfer furniture for a client, or help with Operation Baby Bottle or another special project.

What: You can serve at the Thrift Store, Kitchen, or participate in Outreach, Fundraising, or Admin work. 
When:  Time commitment varies per opportunity, with some being more flexible than others. Some opportunities require a shift every week, some just once or twice a month
